"Another awesome Spring Hog hunt. You guys really are the best.
I hated waking up Sunday morning knowing this was my last hunt. The wildlife around you is enough to keep you busy while waiting on a blind to show hogs. In fact, on my last hunt I watched three big tom's a few hens and a small armadillo for a while before getting a pack of 20+ hogs at my feeder. I saw many deer on this trip as well.
Those deep breaths of air, beautiful scenery, wildlife - and almost a guarantee of a trophy make this my favorite drop spot for hunting. BTW- 2 boars and 2 sows this trip.
Gary (our guide) is and has been simply awesome. If you ever just get overrun with pigs during the year please give me a call. I will be there in an hour.

"I did not harvest any pigs, but did not leave disappointed at all! The hunt was as advertised and my guide, John, did his best to put me on pigs. The last day I hunted, Saturday, the wind was my downfall as it swirled all day and evening. I feel like next year John will make sure I get some pigs. I saw a 140 class 8 point the was fabulous. I can't wait until next year."

WOW! Where do I start? I'll try and keep it short. What a Weekend! Meals, Staff, Good Company... It was Great. I'm fortunate enough to live in Central Texas and have hunted many of the large ranches this great state has to offer. I found that the people of the Solana live up to the speeches of many on the website. The guys are great and the food is just down home good cooking. OUr Guide, Gary, went over and beyond talking to us and helping us understand the place. Gary put us on pigs and knows what's going on. The ranch is the best managed, in both wildlife and conservation lands I have seen in some time. They take pride in the land and rightfully so. My group hunted the 1st championship hog hunt and was able to take home 1st in pigs and 1st in heaviest hog. What a trip! Look forward to a long lasting relationship with you guys....
