A portion of Solana Ranch is designated for exotic game hunting. Exotic game may be hunted at any time during the year by archery, rifle, muzzle loader or handgun. These hunts can be from hunting stands, stalking or safari style. Our exotics are thriving in a 430 acre high-fenced game preserve.
Unlike some game ranches, our goal is not to book as many hunters as possible to harvest average or cull animals. Instead, we prefer to provide quality animals and first class guide service to make your hunt an experience that will be fondly remembered for years to come.
In the event that no game is harvested, only a daily guide fee of $100.00 and food and lodging will apply. Keep in mind "If you draw blood - you own it". A walk-in cooler is available for game storage.
We have certified scorers available to score your trophies through the Records of Exotics. This is a fun way to document your harvest.
The Solana Ranch Wildlife Office comes complete with beds, a bathroom, kitchen & Dish Network. For larger groups we also have three other lodges on the property, we can accommodate up to 18 guests. Meals are also available for our overnight clients upon request. There are also several eating establishments in Salado just north of us.
Programs are available for Contracts, Group Hunts, Executive Day Hunts and Individuals. Just let us know what your group would like to hunt and we will do everything in our power to make it happen.
