DOVE MEMBERSHIP 2010-2009
Just 45 minutes north of Austin on IH 35 near Salado, the Solana Ranch offers some of the finest dove hunting in the state.
Members may hunt any of five Solana Farms.
Fields are planted with sunflower with mowed or shredded areas. The sunflower will be left standing in the fields from September 1 - Winter Season with periodic shredding to expose additional feed for birds.

The Solana Ranch also has available SEASON CORPORATE MEMBERSHIPS. The Corporation buys 1 "Member Only" membership at $300.00 and pays $250.00 for each additional hunter.
As part of the membership benefits, hunters will have access to our year 'round clay bird range, the pavilion which has BBQ pits, picnic tables and lodges that are available all year long for meetings or any occasion. The Solana Ranch employees are also available to point you in the right direction of where they have scouted birds that day. We are always here to help make the most of your hunting experience.
Members issued a membership card marked "ODD" may hunt September 1st, 3rd & 5th from noon to sunset during the first week of the season. Members issued a membership card marked "EVEN" may hunt September 2nd, 4th & 6th from noon to sunset during the first week of the season. Beginning September 7th, ALL members may hunt from noon to sunset anytime during the season. This schedule helps take the pressure off of the birds the first part of the season. (Dates posted are subject to change).
Members holding a member and guest card must be present and responsible for their guest. For members holding corporate cards: whomever is hunting from the corporation must have the corporate id card with them.
Members & guests must sign a release form before entering any dove fields.

Hunters arrive between 12:00pm & 2:00pm to meet and greet your guests and guides, shoot at the skeet range to site in your rifle and snack on Solana Ranch Sausage Wraps. Around 4:00pm, Solana Ranch guides will take groups of hunters out to hunt specially planted dove fields. Guides will deliver full service from guiding to fields, locating birds then processing the birds. At sunset, guides will take the hunters back to our pavilion for a Solana Ranch steak dinner with all the trimmings. Hang out and visit, have a great time! Guests usually depart around 9:30 to 10:00pm. If any guests need to stay overnight, Solana Ranch can accommodate with our lodging facilities. Just let us know. Executive hunts are available from September 1st thru October 25th, we regularly have between 6 & 8 hunts each season. 30 days prior to your hunt date, Solana Ranch requires as close to a final number of hunters as possible so we can make proper arrangements for the cook, food, guides etc.
The earlier you reserve your spot, the more likely you will get the date you want. These hunts are loads of fun and the majority of our groups return each year.
