Falconry

EarthQuest, Inc., Steve Hoddy, was gracious enough to give an awesome demonstration of Falconry on the Solana Ranch early this month. The event was coordinated by Cathryn Davis and it was phenomenal to watch the falcons work with the dogs on a hunt. The birds are incredible.

EXOTICS are available all year 'round! Call Peanut and check out our stock. All hunts are fully guided. In the event that no game is harvested, only a daily guide fee of $100.00 and food and lodging will apply. Keep in mind however, "If you draw blood - you own it". Hunters are welcome to hunt with rifle, bow, black powder or handgun. A valid hunting license can be purchased at local locations when needed. Our award winning guides will insure a quality and safe hunting experience. Your trophies can be scored through the Record of Exotics. A walk-in cooler is available for game storage. The Solana Ranch Wildlife Office comes complete with beds, bathroom, kitchen & Dish Network. We also have three other lodges on the property, we can accommodate up to 18 guests when lodging is requested. Meals are also available on request if you will be staying with us for more than one day. Request a personalized quote for your group, corporation or contracts. Also if you are here hunting hog, whitetail or turkey, ask about taking an exotic also.

A NO SMOKING policy has been implemented. Smoking will only be allowed in the open areas, the pavilion, open space areas around the ranch and outside the lodge and kitchen areas.
