The Solana Ranch is becoming known more for "Custom Cattle Care" than for a traditional cattle ranch. For years, the ranch had a traditional cow/calf operation with only ranch owned cattle. Beginning in 2000, we started accepting non-ranch owned cattle under contract for maintenance from other cattle raisers. 2006 has brought significant changes in our cattle program. We are proud to welcome our new contract of 400+/- head and are very excited about the future!
